Delivery & Shipping Policy

At Animal Technology, we take great care to ensure your order is manufactured, prepared, securely packaged and dispatched safely. This policy explains our manufacturing times, order processing, shipping and how we handle delivery issues.

Order Processing & Manufacturing Time

Animal Technology manufactures, assembles and prepares many of our products in-house. All components and materials required for our standard products are normally held in stock, allowing us to fulfil orders as quickly as possible.

Popular products may already be manufactured, assembled or prepared and, where stock is ready, orders may be dispatched considerably sooner.

Where an item needs to be manufactured or built to order, please allow approximately 5–10 working days for manufacturing, assembly, configuration, testing and preparation before dispatch.

Our computer and gaming systems are individually assembled, configured and tested before shipment to ensure they are operating correctly.

The 5–10 working day period is a manufacturing and preparation allowance, not a standard waiting time. We will always aim to dispatch your order sooner wherever possible.

The manufacturing period is separate from the courier's delivery time. Delivery estimates therefore begin once the completed order has been dispatched.

If an unforeseen issue is likely to cause a significant delay beyond the stated manufacturing period, we will contact you.

Estimated manufacturing, dispatch and delivery times are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Delivery

Orders are sent using an appropriate delivery service based on the size, value and destination of the item.

High-value systems may require a signature, PIN, photographic confirmation or other proof of delivery.

Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and accurate. Animal Technology cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will normally be provided where available.

Checking Your Delivery

We strongly recommend inspecting the outer packaging as soon as your order arrives.

If the parcel appears significantly damaged, crushed, punctured or otherwise mishandled, please photograph the packaging before opening it.

When opening a high-value computer or gaming system, we also recommend retaining the original packaging until you have confirmed that the product has arrived safely and is operating correctly.

Damage During Delivery

If an item arrives damaged, please contact Animal Technology as soon as reasonably possible.

Please retain:

• The product
• The original shipping box
• Internal protective packaging
• Labels and shipping documentation
• Any damaged packaging

We may request photographs of the parcel, packaging and product so that the damage can be documented and investigated with the delivery company.

Please do not dispose of the packaging until we confirm that it is no longer required.

Where appropriate, Animal Technology will deal with the courier or postal service regarding a claim for damage occurring while the goods were being delivered to you.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

Do Not Return Delivery-Damaged Goods Without Contacting Us

Please contact Animal Technology before returning a product that has been damaged during delivery.

This allows us to document the condition of the item, provide appropriate return instructions and, where necessary, open a claim with the delivery company.

Returning an item without suitable packaging may cause additional damage and may affect our ability to establish when or how that additional damage occurred.

Returning Computers and Gaming Systems

Computers, gaming systems and other high-value electronics must be packaged securely for return.

Where reasonably possible, we recommend using the original protective packaging.

Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care when packaging goods for return. Damage caused by inadequate return packaging or mishandling after the goods have been delivered may be taken into account where permitted by law.

We strongly recommend using an appropriately insured and tracked delivery service whenever a customer is responsible for arranging a return.

Failed or Refused Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because an incorrect address was supplied, delivery was repeatedly refused, or the customer failed to collect the parcel, the order may be returned to Animal Technology.

Where permitted by law, reasonable additional delivery costs resulting from circumstances caused by the customer may be charged before the order is dispatched again.

Lost Deliveries

If tracking indicates that your order has not arrived within the expected period, please contact Animal Technology.

We will investigate the delivery with the carrier and take appropriate action.

Customers should not be required to resolve a courier loss themselves where responsibility for delivery remains with Animal Technology.

Delivery Confirmation

Where a delivery service records an item as delivered, we may use tracking information, delivery photographs, GPS information, signatures, PIN confirmation or other information supplied by the carrier when investigating a disputed delivery.

Where there is a genuine dispute regarding delivery, we will investigate the available evidence with the carrier before determining the appropriate next steps.

Customised and Made-to-Order Products

Some Animal Technology products may be manufactured, configured or customised specifically for an individual customer.

Where a product has been made to the customer's specifications or is clearly personalised, different cancellation rights may apply compared with standard products.

This does not affect a customer's statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Delivery & Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable UK consumer law.

This policy should be read alongside our Returns & Refunds Policy and Warranty Policy.
