Cub Ice BC250 Installation & Fitting Guide
Follow this guide to correctly install the cooling system, power supply and associated connections in your Cub Ice BC250 system.
Before starting, make sure the system is disconnected from mains power and that you have all supplied components ready.
Important: Follow the photographs carefully throughout the installation. Do not overtighten any mounting hardware but also make sure its tight and making good contact with the PCB, and check all power and cooling connections before switching the system on.
Before you start — Remove the front panel
Unscrew and remove the front panel to give clear access to the inside of the Cub Ice case. Keep the screws safely to one side for refitting later.

Step 1 — Install the Chipset Heatsinks
Fit the supplied chipset heatsinks to the BC250 board in the positions shown in the left picture below. Make sure each heatsink is correctly aligned and pressed firmly into place so the thermal adhesive makes good contact.

Step 2 — Install the AIO CPU Mounting Bracket
Fit the AIO CPU mounting bracket to the BC250 board as shown Above. Align all mounting points correctly and tighten the fixings evenly.
using the 4 original screws use the supplied m3 washers and nuts to securly reconnect the rear vrm back plate.
Important: Do not overtighten. The fixings only need to be secure enough to hold the bracket firmly in position.
Step 3 — Route the AIO Pipes
Position the AIO pipes as shown.

Make sure one pipe passes underneath the support bar and the other passes over the BC250.
Avoid sharp bends or kinks in either pipe and make sure they are not under unnecessary tension.
Step 4 — Prepare the CPU and AIO Pump
Remove the protective sticker or film from the copper contact plate on the underside of the AIO pump.
Apply a suitable amount of thermal paste to the CPU as shown.

Important: Never install the AIO pump with the protective film still fitted.
Step 5 — Install the AIO Pump
Carefully position the AIO pump onto the CPU and secure it to the mounting bracket.
Tighten the mounting fixings gradually and evenly, alternating between sides to apply even pressure.

Do not overtighten.
Step 6 — Connect the AIO Pump to PSU SATA Power
Connect the AIO pump power lead to the supplied SATA power adapter, then connect this to a SATA power connector from the PSU.

Make sure all connectors are fully seated and secure.
The AIO pump is powered directly from the PSU so that it receives constant 12V power and runs continuously while the system is switched on.
Step 7 — Connect the Power Switch Adapter
Connect the supplied power-switch adapter inline with the 24-pin PSU power cable, as shown.

Make sure both connectors are pushed fully together and securely latched.
Step 8 — Install and Secure the PSU
Position the PSU inside the Cub Ice case as shown, making sure the IEC mains socket is correctly aligned with the rear panel.

Secure the PSU firmly using the supplied fixing screws.
Step 9 — Connect the Cooling Fans
Connect the cooling-fan cable to the BC250 fan header as shown.
Check the connector orientation carefully and make sure it is fully seated.
The BC250 controls the cooling-fan speed according to system temperature, while the AIO pump remains independently powered from the PSU.

Step 10 — Connect Remaining Power Cables and Cable Manage
Connect all remaining required power cables and check that every connector is fully seated.
Route and secure the cables neatly inside the case.
Make sure:
- No cables can touch or obstruct any cooling fan.
- The AIO pipes are not kinked or compressed.
- No cables are placed under excessive tension.
- Connectors cannot work loose when the case is moved.
Step 11 — Final Check and Refit the Lid
Before refitting the lid, check all connections and cooling components carefully.
Confirm that:
- The chipset heatsinks are securely fitted.
- The AIO mounting bracket is secure.
- The protective film has been removed from the AIO cold plate.
- Thermal paste has been applied.
- The AIO pump is securely mounted.
- The AIO pump is connected to PSU SATA power.
- The cooling fans are connected to the BC250 fan header.
- The 24-pin power-switch adapter is correctly connected.
- The PSU is securely fitted.
- All cables are clear of the cooling fans.
- The AIO pipes are routed correctly with one above and one below the support bar.

Once everything has been checked, carefully refit the case lid and secure it with the fixing screws.
Important — Before First Power-On
Do a final visual inspection before connecting mains power. If anything looks loose, incorrectly routed or poorly seated, correct it before switching the system on.
Last step but on the of the most important on first boot enter your bios by pressing the Del on post.
Enter monitoring in advance and set a custom fan curve. this is done in 4 steps as shown below.
1 temp 35c fan speed 50%
2 temp 40c fan speed 65%
3 temp 45c fan speed 75%
4 temp 50c fan speed 85-100%
once set press F10 and save.
